A visit to Kiev

On the invitation of a Public organization «Association of Reserve Officers of the Armed Forces «Officer’s Honor — UKRAINE» a delegation, headed by the President of the International Advisory Committee of organizations of reserve officers (IAC) and Chairman of a Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation A. Kanshin, visited the city of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. In the headquarters of the Association they conducted negotiations with the leaders of the Ukrainian Association, and also a business meeting at the «round table» with its representatives in the regions of Ukraine.

There were discussed issues of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the IAC, as well as bilateral cooperation between associations «Officer’s Honor — UKRAINE» and «Megapir».

There was also a meeting with the Deputy Chief of Secretariat of the Ukrainian government Sergey Kamyshev, which was held on September 20 in the House of Government.

During the meetings with representatives of veteran organizations and secretariat of the Ukrainian government, A. Kanshin informed them on the activities of the IAC, the Commission of Russian Public Chamber, headed by him, and the prospects of international cooperation.

A. Kanshin was decorated with an Order of Honor of the Ukrainian veterans «Soldiers’ glory».

The President of the IAC decorated a number of representatives of governmental and veteran groups and public organizations, as well as Ukrainian colleagues — reserve officers — with a medal «Officers’ solidarity» for their active work aimed at the promotion of relations between reserve officers of different countries.
