Expanding the interaction

On 19 April, 2012 at the headquarters of the IAC there was held a meeting of the Chairman of the International Advisory Council of organizations of reserve officers, the chairman of the Commission on issues of national security and socio-economic living conditions of the military, their families and veterans, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Unions of the Armed Forces Reserve Officers (MEGAPIR) Alexander Kanshin with the Air attaché at the U. S. Embassy in the Russian Federation, colonel USAF Joseph C. Hickox and his assistant, Major USAF Steven P. Melvin.

During the meeting, A. Kanshin briefed the American diplomats on the activities of the Association (MEGAPIR) and the International Advisory Council; spoke about the upcoming second meeting of the IAC, which will be held in Vienna and Bratislava in May 2012. He outlined in detail the main tasks and directions of the Public Chamber, including the first two of its convocations. In his turn, D.Ch. Hickox shared the experience of organizations of reserve officers in the U.S.
