The meeting of Chairman of the Board of directors of the Association Alexander Kanshin and correspondent of The Wall Street Journal Richard Bourdeaux was organized at request of this authoritative American periodical on the 29th of September 2010.

During the meeting army reforming and civilian control over this process were discussed.

Social security for servicemen, callin aspects, serving officers reduction, contract service, corruption and criminality in the army were also discussed. A. N. Kanshin informed the guest from the USA about main missions of The National Association of The Armed Forces Reserve Officers Organizations (MEGAPIR) and perspectives of its development.
