Meeting in Madrid

On the 29th of April 2011 Mr. Anatoly Kumakhov, Executive Secretary of the International Advisory Council of Reserve Officers Organizations, in the framework of development contacts with reserve officers organizations in foreign countries, met with Mr. Leopold M. Sanches, President of the Spanish Military Association and representatives of Spanish Reservist Association.

The Spanish colleagues listened with interest to the brief about versatile activities of Megapir and International Advisory Board of Reserve Officers Organizations founded in March 2011 with participation of representatives from 13 countries. The parties exchanged gifts and informational materials.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Megapir and Executive Council of International Advisory Council of Reserve Officers Organizations, the Spanish associations were officially invited to take part in the first meeting of the Board to take place on 14–15 June, 2011, in Moscow. The invitation was accepted with gratitude. The Spanish colleagues informed Mr. Kumakhov in details on activities of their organization and expressed their wish to maintain business contacts with the Megapir Association and the International Advisory Council of Reserve Officers Organizations.
