Meeting with Slovakian ambassador

Visit of Slovakian extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to the Russian Federation Joseph Migas to the business-centre of the Association «Megapir» was organized on the 1st of June 2010.

Member of Presidium of the Social council under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense, Head of the Association «Megapir» Alexander Kanshin, Secretary of the Public Chamber, academician Eugeny Velikhov, Chairman of the Officer Assembly Council of the Association, marshal of the Soviet Union Dmitry Yazov, Deputy chief of staff of «Megapir», Coordinator of international programs Anatoly Kumakhov represented the Association during the meeting with the ambassador.

During the meeting following issues were discussed: strengthening of mental, historical ties, development of «peoples diplomacy» between Russia and Slovakia. The importance of expanding cooperation of appropriate state and public authorities in order to actively involve veterans’ organizations capabilities to education and the reserve officers of the younger generation was noted.
