MEETING WITH THE DELEGATION OF THE MINISTRY OF NATIONAL DEFENSE OF THE REPUBLIC OF CONGO

April 28, 2017 At the headquarters of the International advisory Committee of organizations of reserve officers (IAC) President A. Kanshin of the Committee met with a delegation of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of the Congo led by Minister Charles Richard Mondjo who participated in the International Conference of the Russian Defense Ministry. The Minister wear accompanied by the Director-General of the Office for Strategic Relations and International Cooperation, Colonel Jean-Aime Ignoumba, and the Military Attache at the Embassy of the Republic of the Congo in Russia Colonel Jeremie Ngoulou. On the Russian side took part in the negotiations V. Bogatyrev - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of union of reserve officers of the Armed Forces «Megapir», and A. Kumakhov - General Secretary of the International advisory Committee of organizations of reserve officers.
During a friendly conversation, the guests from Africa informed of the structure and principles of the International advisory Committee of organizations of reserve officers, about major international events held over six years of its existence. The delegation got acquainted with the museum with interest, the magazine "Officers' Fraternity". Was also shown a video about the International humanitarian action "Mission of Peace and Friendship" dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory over Fascism, held by the Committee in June 2015 in UNESCO Headquarters in Paris in conjunction with the Permanent Mission of Russia to UNESCO and the International Association of Peacekeeping Forces.
The Minister of National Defense of the Republic of the Congo, for his part, spoke about the work of the Organization of Reserve Officers of the Republic of Congo, expressed his readiness to establish contacts between this organization and the IAC.
For his great contribution to the support of veterans, Mr. Sh. R. Mondgjo was awarded the Medal of the IAC "Officers Solidarity".
