15 June 2016 in Moscow held a meeting of the Presidium of the International Advisory Committee of organizations of reserve officers (IAC)
In June 15, 2016 held meeting of the Presidium of the International Advisory Committee of organizations of reserve officers (IAC), dedicated to the 5-th anniversary of its creation. The results of the work during this period, the participants exchanged views on a wide range of issues of international security and the fight for peace, discussed the main activities in the coming period.
IAC President Alexander Kanshin in his speech pointed to the importance of the IAC works to assist efforts aimed at countering global terrorism, on the prevention of armed conflict. They stressed the need to intensify work on consolidate the efforts of the veterans' community in order to counter new threats.
Speakers at meeting: vice-president of the IAC, Chairman of the Republican Public Association "Veterans of the Armed Forces" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, lieutenant-general B. Yertayev, and vice-president of the IAC, the President of the Assembly of Club of Generals and Admirals of Serbia general- colonel (retired) V. Pantelich, and vice-president of IAC, Chairman of the French national Federation of the participants of foreign operations, President of the International association "Soldiers of Peace" L. Attar-Bayrou, and vice-president of the IAC, Chairman of the Board of Public organization of reserve officers of the Armed Forces "Officer honor - UKRAINE" major-general (retired) A. Boyko commended the work of IAC and its efforts to promoting countering international terrorism, prevention of armed conflicts. Stressed the need to work with youth organizations more actively.
The Presidium members exchanged opinions on holding the 5-th General Assembly of the International Advisory Committee of organizations of reserve officers: date, place, agenda. Had been proposals to hold the next, the 5th General Assembly of the IAC or the IAC Presidium meeting in 2017 in Astana - Almaty, Kiev, Belgrade, Spain, Israel, Germany, Lyon, Paris, Geneva. It was agreed, that after investigated all of variants and problems related to the implementation of measures in these areas, and the choice it, will be placed it, the Secretariat will inform all members of the IAC.
With the information on held in the 2015-2016 years First International Festival of documentary films and television programs "For a World without Wars and military conflicts" and its results has acted Director General of the International Film Festival O. Alekseeva.
