In December 2011 in the head-quarters of the International Advisory Council of Organizations of Reserve Officers (IAC) Chairman of the IAC Alexander Kanshin and Executive Secretary of the IAC Anatoly Kumakhov met with a well — known Russian ballet dancer people’s artist Ilze Liepa and founder of the Pilates Institute Mariya Subbotovskaya.

During the meeting there were discussed prospects for cooperation of the IAC, Ilze Liepa’s studio — school and the Pilates Institute to implement various cultural and creative international projects.

Alexander Kanshin told about different social projects and programmes carried out by Russian reserve officers and presented to the guests the first issue of the Officer’s Fraternity Journal published by the International Advisory Council of Organizations of Reserve Officers. In his turn Anatoly Kumakhov briefed them on the IAC activities.

Ilze Liepa and Mariya Subbotovskaya voiced their intention to set up a specialized Fund designed to help physically challenged children. They supported Alexander Kanshin’s idea to found a special — purpose board of trustees and Ilza Liepa’s Club of Friends. «The International Advisory Council of Reserve Officers might play an important role in supporting these works," Ilze Liepa said.

On behalf of the Council on New Year’s Eve Alexnder Kanshin awarded the outstanding guests wrist watches and a celebratory set.
