Working meeting of Chairman of the Board of directors of the Association «Megapir» Alexander Kanshin and Egyptian extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to the Russian Federation Allaa Elhadidi was held on the 15th of November 2010.
A wide range of issues was discussed, including perspectives of
Importance of saving the historical truth about World War II was noted; agreement to organize exchange of visits of veterans delegations expecting the 70th anniversary of The Battle of Stalingrad was achieved. In particular, it’s planned that Egyptian veterans, scientists and reserve officers sponsored be «Megapir» will visit Volgograd; and their Russian counterpart will visit El Alamein and Alexandria. Importance of various countries reserve officers cooperation, and tourist exchange was approved.
