Working meetings in Vienna and Bratislava

On 27 to 29 December, 2011, the Executive Secretary of the International Advisory Council of the Organizations of the Reserve Officers (IAC) Anatoly Kumakhov held working meetings in Vienna and Bratislava.


December 27, 2011 in the Austrian capital, Anatoly Kumakhov held meeting with the leadership of the Association of Reserve Officers in Vienna: President, Colonel Rudolf Raubik and the Secretary-General, Brigadier-General Roland Vogel. Negotiations on issues of participation of delegation of Austrian Reserve Officer Vienna in the International Advisory Council, as well as the establishment of bilateral cooperation between the National Association Unions of Reserve Officers of the Armed Forces (MEGAPIR) and the Austrian Association.

At the meeting was attended the Co-Chair of IAC, the President of «the Club of Slovakia Generals» General Frantisek Blanarik and Deputy Chairman of the Club General Tibor Gaplovski.

Austrian side presented detailed information on the multifaceted activities of the Association «Megapir» given appropriate printed and video materials. Anatoly Kumakhov also informed the Austrian colleagues on the IAC, the history and foundation of its creation, the concepts and basic directions of its activity. It was stressed that in the IAC is completely eliminated any political activity and interference in the work of any organization and internal affairs of countries.

Executive Secretary of the IAC informed about the upcoming second meeting of the International Advisory Council in Bratislava on 22–24 May 2012, detailed the draft program of the meeting and the agenda. Anatoly Kumakhov also presented the conclusions of the Austrian colleagues first meeting of the International Advisory Council on June 15, 2011, the concept of his work, the first issue of «OfficersFraternity» with the CD-video about the first meeting, a number of materials about the «Megapir» as well as several issues of the newspaper «The Officer Alloy «.

President and Secretary General of the Association of Reserve Officers in Vienna showed great interest in the various parts, and informational materials.

For his part, Mr. Rudolph Raubik told about he headed the Association.

On behalf of the Secretariat of the IAC, he was transferred to an invitation for a delegation of the Association of Reserve Officers in Vienna in the second meeting of the International Advisory Council. «The invitation accepted with pleasure, his decision to notify the Austrians in January 2012. The Austrians have expressed a desire to establish cooperation with the Association «Megapir», — said Anatoly Kumakhov.

On behalf of the Council of Directors of the Association «Megapir» Anatoly Kumakhov presented to the President of the Association of Reserve Officers of Vienna, Mr. Rudolph Raubik the Medal «For Contribution to the Veteran Movement.»

28 and 29 December 2011 in the Slovak capital, Anatoly Kumakhov discussed with the Co-Chair of the IAC, the Chairman of the «Club of Slovakia Generals» General Frantisek Blanarik and his deputy, General Tibor Gaplovski issues related to preparation and holding of the second meeting of the International Advisory Council in Bratislava. In particular, we consider the draft program and agenda, the technical aspects of visas for the meeting and other working points. At a meeting with the director of the hotel «Bonbon» tentatively discussed and agreed on issues of accommodation and meals for participants and guests of the second meeting, logistics of the meeting.

It is noteworthy that on December 29 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Slovak Republic, Pavel Kuznetsov, received Anatoly Kumakhov. During the meeting, the Executive Secretary of the IAC informed him of the work on preparing and holding the second meeting of the IAC, its program and agenda. Ambassador handed over the first issue of the IAC, «Officers Fraternity» with the CD-video about the first meeting of the Council.
