Working visit to Berlin

Representatives of the Association «Megapir» paid a working visit to Germany in December 2010, which become next step in developing and expanding international cooperation of the Association, veterans organizations and reserve officer of foreign countries.

Delegation members laid the wreaths to the monument of Soldier in Treptower Park located in the centre of Berlin on the 1st of December 2010, where are buries of more than 5 thousand soviet soldiers, who fell in the battles for liberation of Europe from fascism.

Representatives of the Youth Council of «Megapir» actively studied German experience of constructing various real estateproperty, their architecture. They held special offsite meeting during which issues of Megapir Group of companies construction business strategic development were discussed.

The note of thanks, expressing gratitude to the federal authorities of GFR and the municipality of Berlin for perfect maintenance of the monument to soviet soldiers, who fell during World War II for liberation of Europe from fascism, located in the Treptower Park, was sent to German extraordinary and pleni-potentiary ambassador to Russia Ulric Brandenburg after the visit. The note marked, that the Association «Megapir» established cooperation with various countries reserve officers organizations and would like to establishworking ties with German counterparts. «We hope such visits and contacts between veteran organizations of reserve officers of our countries will contribute to further strengthening of friendly ties of veteran organizations in Russia and foreign countries, and our peoples as well.

We expect fruitful cooperation with German ambassador to Russia and German veterans within the framework of „peoples diplomacy“ in the mutual interests», — stated in the note.
